Vamed opts for Reservation Assistant Spa Software
Single solution for the VAMED group in step by step realization

The most important building stone for an integrated global solution for the Austrian SPA and wellness centres group VAMED AG is called Reservation Assistant Spa & Sport Software.

 

The Vamed group with its locations in Oberlaa, Geinberg, Längenfeld, Laa, and Gars is the largest SPA and wellness centre operator in Austria. Up to now these fields were supplied with a number of quite different software solutions.

 

But with the expansion in Laa and the modernization of the IT department in the Dungl houses in Gars am Kamp, an intensive evaluation period has taken place – showing a very clear result: first choice is Reservation Assistant Spa & Sport Product Suite from TAC.

 

This solution does not only offer a perfect administration of the core competencies, as for example reservation, personnel resource plan, packages and vouchers, but perfectly includes all further domains as well.

 

“We do not only concentrate on just our field alone, we always take a good look at the global situation and needs of the group as a whole. That is why we take special care to perfectly integrate the applied solutions”, says Roman Kirisits, Managing Director of TAC.

An example of what could take place in the Des-tination Spa in Laa: Name and hotel room number of the guest are sent, in real time, from the hotel reser-vation system (Protel) to Reservation Assistant. Being part of a package, a beauty treatment is directly booked under the entered name and later sent to the hotel invoice. After the beauty treatment, the guest buys some cosmetics in the Spa facilities and pays by credit card. The credit card validity is checked (3C) and the amount is directly debited from the internal cost center.

 

Reservation Assistant day guests are of course just as welcome – their consumptions are cash free and directly booked into the system via a chip bracelet (Mafis Access System).

Apart from the Destination Spa in Laa, Reservation Assistant will also, by the end of this year, be installed in the Dungl Centres in Gars am Kamp.

 

These centres de-signed by Professor Willi Dungl comprise a hotel, a bio-training centre and a Chinese medicine centre in Gars am Kamp, Today they are managed by Dr. Andrea Zauner-Dungl in cooperation with the Vamed group. This is where the web engine proves useful by enabling a practical ordering of vouchers via internet. Barcode scanners secure a simple and safe redemption.

“Our core competence is the profit improvement in the Spa Industry. This means optimising all business processes and turning them customer friendly. We offer full support with our consulting know how and our intelligent software tools”, outlines Roman Kirisits, when asked about the orientation of TAC.
